If there's any justice in the world (and occasionally there is), James Udom will have a long and fulfilling acting career.
Recently I've been reminded of my good fortune in meeting him.
Four years on from his stunning portrayal (really, creation of) Freddy in a first outing of my play Scamoramaland (boy, was I lucky), James has gone on to work off-Broadway and then to Yale Drama School, from which he will graduate in 2018.
Film and theater world, take note of a very fine actor!
2018 update: James is in his third and final year at Yale Drama School and has received the Princess Grace Award!
2018 update deux: James was in town to play the lead role in the A.C.T. production of Suzan-Lori Parks's "Father Comes Home From the Wars". He's graduated from Yale and is making his mark!
