Another Hole in the Head

"Shelter"  screened at Another Hole in the Head (SF Indie Fest) this weekend.

Interviews with The Economist and KGO-TV about "Scamorama".

The Economist article reviewed a math-heavy paper positing that email scammers use over-the-top scam 'formats' to weed out people who are scam-proofed and so not worth pursuing. Interesting if unconvincing. I don't share the reviewer's scorn for victims, although it's tiresome to keep telling people "yes it's a scam." Yes! It's a scam!

Don't Give Up The Ghost

Summer 2012 spent as AD and general flunkey on Don't Give Up The Ghost, a French-American feature film by Jean-Louis Milesi, produced by Belle Moon (http://bellemoonproductions.com/). Highlights included shooting at that temple of cinema, the Castro Theater, on their 'dark' night, and the Berkeley pier.
